Set a decade before A New Hope, in a Tatooine subculture that's been hinted at, but never explored, Bode Kondrek is a new kind of speculative Star Wars film – intimate, character-driven, and grounded in the kind of dusty human drama that made the original trilogy feel real. It's a film about hero worship, the thrills and pitfalls of charisma, and the power of transformation. It's an argument that the Star Wars universe is expansive enough to tell every kind of human story.
